About Santa's Magical Sleeping Potion
My grandfather, affectionately known as Gramps, was a magical person. Some of my most vivid and cherished childhood memories are with him and his magic. I remember card tricks, small objects that would disappear and reappear elsewhere, and even that one time he made candy bars rain from the sky. It’s no surprise then, that Santa would share his magical sleeping potion with Gramps.
Each year, all of his grandchildren would take part in the holiday tradition of drinking Santa’s Magical Sleeping Potion. As soon as we drank the hot cocoa, we would feel the magic at work, and promptly go to bed, in spite of the anticipation and excitement that Santa was coming.
This Christmas tradition is one that is near and dear to my heart. It serves as a beautiful reminder of my beloved grandparents and many fun Christmas memories. Gramps was the best kind of grandfather you could hope for. He made the world one of wonder and magic, and I hope this new Christmas tradition does the same for your family.

About the Owner
Carly was born and raised with her two sisters in Colorado. Growing up, summer vacations were fondly spent visiting her grandparents at the beach in Charleston, South Carolina. After receiving her Bachelor’s Degree in Recreation & Tourism from Colorado State University she promptly moved to that favorite summer vacation spot, ultimately settling in the coastal town of Folly Beach, which she now calls home.
Her passion for travel has taken her over the years on extended trips around the world to include studying abroad in Wollongong, Australia, briefly living in New Zealand, spending a year teaching English in the small village of Ts’itelkhevi, Georgia (country, not the state), teaching English in San Pedro Sula, Honduras, backpacking through Cambodia, Laos, and Vietnam, touring Belgium and much of Eastern Europe and hiking the Kerry Way in Ireland. She continues to travel, making it a point to take a winter surf trip each year to a new destination, which thus far has included Guatemala, Panama, Costa Rica, and soon to be, El Salvador.
She currently works as the Director of Operations for a local Folly company and in her free time, when she’s not continuing to work on building her two brands, Santa’s Magical Sleeping Potion and Cheeky Mugger, you can find her playing beach volleyball, surfing, reading a good book outside, or doing some other outdoor activity.
